Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of lexical techniques of persuasion in modern media and political communications. In conditions of rapid dissemination of information and a variety of communication formats, lexical means have a significant impact on the perception and formation of public opinion. The key components of speech influence, such as evaluative constructions, euphemisms and dysphemisms, as well as stereotypes and labels, are considered. The author analyzes how these techniques can be used to create positive or negative images, manipulate the emotions of the audience and form certain discourses.
