Annotation. Lipase enzymes play a crucial role in various industrial applications, including food, detergent, and pharmaceutical industries. Due to the rapid growth rates of microorganisms, the convenience of genetic manipulation, and the ability to produce large quantities of enzymes under controlled fermentation conditions, lipase is considered a notable source. This article examines microorganisms capable of lipase production, explores production methods, and investigates optimization techniques to maximize yield and enzyme activity.
