This article explores the complex relationships between language, discourse and
ideology, emphasizing the importance of an interdisciplinary approach to analyzing
language in the context of social life. The author examines how language shapes
thinking and perceptions of the world, supporting the interests of dominant groups in
society. The main focus is on discourse analysis, which reveals how the choice of
words and the structuring of texts affect public consciousness and can both reinforce
and challenge existing ideological constructions. Examples of news headline analysis
demonstrate how language can legitimize power and shape public opinion. The
conclusion emphasizes the need for a critical attitude to linguistic constructions,
since they not only reflect but also shape reality.
