Abstract

Annotation: This article examines the role of creative writing in school curriculums, highlighting its importance for student development. Creative writing fosters self-expression, enhances critical thinking, and cultivates imagination. It also supports students’ emotional and cognitive growth, providing a means to explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences. This article argues for integrating creative writing into standard curriculums to empower students to communicate effectively and think creatively. It references prominent educational theories that support the value of creativity in learning.
