English language is increasing its importance as an integral part of the modern education system. Globalization processes and the development of information technologies are increasing the demand for knowledge of the English language. Therefore, the issue of developing the professional competence of English language teachers is of urgent importance. The professional competence of the teacher plays an important role not only in ensuring the effectiveness of the educational process, but also in increasing the level of students' language acquisition.
