With an emphasis on how platforms like social media, text messaging, and online forums impact modern communication practices, this article investigates the impact of digital communication on linguistic style. New linguistic standards, abbreviations, and tone changes have resulted from the evolution of language use brought about by the emergence of digital technologies. The study looks at how digital media affect vocabulary, grammar, and communication structure, emphasizing how informality, brevity, and immediacy shape language style. The research also explores how these changes affect language preservation, cultural norms, and interpersonal relationships. By examining both qualitative and quantitative data, the study highlights how language remains dynamic in the digital era and provides insights into how people's self-expression is still influenced by digital communication.
