Measles is a highly contagious viral disease predominantly affecting children. This article explores the causes of measles outbreaks, clinical symptoms, epidemiological status, and prevention measures. The study analyzes the outcomes of immunization programs conducted in Uzbekistan against measles and highlights the importance of preventive measures. The results confirm the high effectiveness of vaccines in eliminating measles. Furthermore, this study emphasizes the challenges faced in rural areas and the role of healthcare infrastructure in controlling the disease. Additionally, the global perspective on measles eradication efforts, including lessons learned from other countries, is examined to provide a comprehensive understanding.
