This article examines the challenges and significance of studying these adverbials. Challenges include syntactic variability, semantic ambiguity, and cross-linguistic differences, while the significance centers on their impact on discourse coherence, sentence interpretation, and translation. Understanding temporal adverbials deepens insights into sentence structure and pragmatics, contributing to more effective language learning, translation, and linguistic theory.
