Dust exposure in occupational settings poses a major health risk to workers, particularly impacting the respiratory, cardiovascular, and immune systems. Prolonged exposure to dust particles, especially in industries such as construction, mining, and agriculture, has been linked to severe chronic illnesses. This article reviews the impact of dust on the human body, identifies high-risk occupational settings, and outlines a comprehensive strategy to mitigate these risks. Emphasis is placed on engineering solutions, personal protective equipment (PPE), administrative controls, and health monitoring programs. The implementation of these measures is essential for safeguarding worker health and promoting a safe work environment.
