So‘nggi yillarda sukukning axloqiy va islomiy tamoyillari tufayli unga hukumatlar, korporatsiyalar, institutsional investorlar, fond menejerlari va boshqalar kabi turli turdagi investorlar katta e'tibor qaratmoqda. Har xil turdagi investorlar yuqori rentabellik, past korrelyatsiya va nisbatan past o‘zgaruvchanlikni ta'minlaydigan turli xil aktiv sinflarini qidirmoqda. Ushbu maqolada sukuk (shariatga
mos obligatsiyalar) bo‘yicha sukukning asosiy nazariyasi va mohiyati, sukuk bilan bog‘liq operatsion masalalar va tuzilmalar hamda sukukning iqtisodiy taraqqiyotdagi rolini muhokama qilamiz. Shuningdek, maqolaning ikkinchi qismida sukukning kelib
chiqish asoslari, uning asosiy huquqiy-fundamental manbaalari tahlil qilinib, bugungi kundagi xalqaro islomiy tashkilotlar tomonidan sukukka nisbatan joriy qilingan ayrim normalar tahlil qilinadi.
