Abstract: In the modern era, the challenges that globalization and technological progress pose to the education system have reached their apogee. Therefore, it is more important than ever to take into account the role of the teacher in teaching English. Of particular importance is the question of which teacher should be responsible for teaching English to students, given the key differences between specialized and mainstream schools.
