Abstract

Abstract: English is the primary language of communication in the increasingly
interconnected modern world. The globalization of trade, technology, education, and
culture  has  made  proficiency  in  English  crucial,  if  not  essential.  This  article  will
examine how English is used in various contemporary contexts, such as job searching,
education, travel, and cross-cultural interactions.
