Annotation.  The  article  analyzes  statistical  data  on  annual  applications  to 
bachelor’s programs from 2011-2022, higher education enrollment, population, total 
income, and general education students. It compares traditional and new perspectives 
on the education system and examines modern higher education reforms in the context 
of increasing national economic competitiveness. The study highlights the key factors 
shaping its development and assesses the population’s demand for higher education. 
It  also  reflects  on  how  the  President  has  sparked  interest  in  higher  education 
institutions.
