TITLE: THE ROLE OF NURSES IN CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION IN THE INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
Abstrak
Abstract: This article focuses on the essential role of nurses in performing
cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in the intensive care unit (ICU) setting. Nurses
are vital members of the resuscitation team, providing continuous care and monitoring
to patients experiencing life-threatening cardiac or respiratory arrest. The paper
examines the duties, responsibilities, and critical interventions that nurses must carry
out in the ICU during CPR procedures. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of
teamwork, timely decision-making, and advanced knowledge in resuscitation protocols
that directly influence patient outcomes.
