Abstrak

Abstract 
This article analyzes the linguistic and cultural features of proverbs in English 
and Uzbek. Proverbs are viewed as linguistic elements that reflect the moral values, 
historical experiences, and cultural characteristics of the people. The similarities and 
differences between proverbs in English and Uzbek are discussed, as well as how they 
express the worldview and mentality of the respective cultures.
