ma’nodagi inglizcha sо‘z bо‘lib, Fransiya, Ispaniya, Rossiyada shu nom saqlanib
qolgan. Nemislarda u «fusbol», Venriyada «labduragosh», Italyanlarda «kalchio»,
Yugoslavlarda «nagomet», Amerikada «sokker» deyiladi. Futbolning xalq, ommasini
jismoniy rivojlantirishning, uning salomatligini mustahkamlashning eng ommabob,
vositasidir. Bu kattalarga ham, о‘smirlarga ham, bolalarga ham birdek ma’qul bо‘lgan
chinakam о‘yin. Futbol bu chinakam atletik о‘yin.
