Abstrak

Abstract:  The  main  mechanisms  of  single-bucket  excavators  include  lifting, 
pressure (traction), rotary and running mechanisms, which have different types of loads 
during  excavator  operation.  The  operation  of  the  lifting,  pressure  and  rotary 
mechanisms is cyclical. The operation of the rotary mechanisms is associated with 
overcoming large moments of inertia of the rotating parts of excavators. If we exclude 
short-term  maneuvering  operations  with  a  bucket  over  the  unloading  site  from  the 
excavator operation cycle, then in calculations to determine the power of the drive 
motors of the lifting, pressure and rotary mechanisms, the cycle time can be divided 
into three periods: digging, turning the platform with a loaded bucket to the unloading 
site and turning the platform with an empty bucket into the face.
