Vodorod peroksidi (H₂O₂) — kimyo sanoatida va ekologik tizimlarda keng qo'llaniladigan kuchli oksidlovchi agentdir. U turli jarayonlarda, masalan, antiseptik vositalar ishlab chiqarish, suvni tozalash va oksidlovchi moddalar sifatida ishlatiladi. Ushbu maqolada vodorod peroksidining parchalanish jarayoni va uning mexanizmi ko'rib chiqiladi. Parchalanish ikki asosiy mexanizmda — katalitik va termal parchalanish — sodir bo'ladi. Maqolada bu jarayonni tezlashtiruvchi omillar va reaksiyaning sanoatdagi ahamiyati haqida batafsil ma'lumot berilgan.
